The utilisation of renewable energy contributes significantly to protecting the climate and helps municipal energy suppliers to both improve their CO2 balance and to reduce their dependence on expensive fossil fuels. Biomass power plants, geothermal plants and, in case of suitable locations, wind and solar power plants are gaining significance for the regional and local supply of power and heat.

For the design and implementation of these projects, ILF is able to deliver one stop engineering services, making use of current and specific know-how in the field of renewable energy, many years of experience in handling such projects and a comprehensive resource base from its other business areas.
