Over the last decade, ILF has more and more frequently been asked to design processing facilities independent of production facilities.
ILF has established an efficient and dynamic process engineering team with competent engineers and state-of-the-art design tools. The integration of TECON Engineering GmbH in Vienna has expanded the scope of services that can be provided by ILF in the refinery and petrochemical industry sectors.
This combination has enabled ILF to successfully complete the following processing facilities:
Outside Battery Limits (OSBL):
- Offsites/utilities for refineries and petrochemical plants
- Processing facilities for crude oil
Inside Battery Limits (based on available process licences):
- Desulphurisation plants
- Cracker plants
- Biodiesel plants
- Polyethylene and polypropylene production plants
- Flue gas treatment plants for the removal of SO2, NOX and particles
