Top Quality Drinking Water for Ahwaz

In December 2007, ILF was entrusted with a design and consultancy contract in cooperation with an Iranian partner office for the water treatment plant No. 2 in Ahwaz, the capital city of Khoozestan Province in Iran. The project, financed by the World Bank, comprises the rehabilitation and the complete revamp of the existing water treatment plant with a capacity of 4 m³/s when completed.

ILF services regarding this project include the preparation of a feasibility study, the preparation of tender documents on the basis of a Design-Build-Operate scheme, project management and local site supervision during construction as well as inspection of commissioning and during trial run over a period of several months.
