ILF Plans Expansion of the Shuweihat Water Transmission System

The Shuweihat Water Transmission System carries potable water from the desalination plant located at Shuweihat in the West of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi to Mirfa (97 km), Sila (100 km), and Jebel Dhana and further to Abu Dhabi. In order to double the capacity of the desalination plant Shuweihat to 200 MIGD (909,000 m3/d) as scheduled, the existing pipeline system has to be appropriately extended.

On behalf of the Abu Dhabi Transmission & Dispatch Company (TRANSCO), ILF will prepare the conceptual design report and the tender documents. Apart from that, ILF is going to support TRANSCO during the tender procedure and execution of construction works.
