Hünxe Compressor Station to be Upgraded

In April 2007, RWE entrusted ILF with the engineering services for the upgrading of the Compressor Station Hünxe which is part of the RWE Westfalen-Weser-EMS AG gas transport network covering a length of approx. 4,000 km. The modernization works basically include the revamp of the control and automation system, of the electrical power system, and the uninterrupted power supply which are now under tender for services of suppliers. After the completion of all works, the Hünxe Compressor Station is scheduled to start operation on 30 September 2009.
