| | ![]() |
The Central Wastewater Treatment Plant in Prague is located on the Cisarsky Island treats approx. 95 % of the wastewater generated in the Czech capital. The existing plant is in good operational order; however, it does not comply with the EU requirements concerning the removal of nitrates and phosphates. In October 2008 ILF was entrusted by the European Investment Bank (EIB) to perform an option analysis and to provide a clear recommendation for the further development of the wastewater and sludge treatment.
