Contract for construction supervision of the railway line between Kundl/Radfeld and Baumkirchen

ÖBB Infrastruktur AG commissioned ILF to undertake the construction supervision of the cabling and 50 Hz power supply systems for the railway line between Kundl/Radfeld and Baumkirchen. Of this 41-km-long section of the Brenner railway axis (Munich-Verona), some 34 km (83%) comprise mined/bored tunnels, sheds, open cuts and cut-and cover tunnels and only some 7 km (17%) sections out in the open.

The works to be supervised include, among others, the laying of more than 2,000 km of cables as well as the installation of transformer stations, distribution panels and boards, emergency power supply systems and electrical building services.
