Four-tracking of the Westbahn Railway Line between Linz and Marchtrenk
After the successful completion of the route selection procedure, ILF and a partner office have now also been commissioned by ÖBB Infrastruktur AG to undertake the railway engineering permit application design and the compilation of the EIA documents for the Westbahn line between Linz and Marchtrenk. The project encompasses the upgrade to four-track operation of the Westbahn line over a length of some 15 kilometers and a link to the airport via Hörsching. The speed on the high-capacity line will be increased to a maximum of 250 km/h.
