ILF renders Owner’s Engineer services for 1000 MWe supercritical unit in Poland

On 01 Feb 2012, ILF Consulting Engineers signed an Owner’s Engineer contract for the erection of a 1000 MWe-class coal-fired supercritical unit at Ostroleka C Power Plant. The client is Elektrownia Ostrołęka S.A., a member of the Energa Group. The comprehensive OE services will be rendered in 3 project stages, i.e. tendering (approx. 17 months), EPC contract implementation (48 months) and warranty period (24+1 months).
The investment has been assigned a high priority by the Ministry of Economy and it is crucial to ensure a reliable power supply for Poland’s National Power Network in the years following 2015.
