Tendering Tunnel Blessberg, Lot 2, Germany

In mid 2005 ILF was charged with the preparation of a unit-price contract for the Tunnel Blessberg, Lot 2 (tunnel length of 4663m). Due to lack of financial cover in 1998 a first tendering could not be launched.

The tunnel Blessberg is situated in the main chain of the Thueringer Wald (Thuering Forest), in the Thuringian Slate Mountains and will be put out to tender in two lots, a Southern section (lot 2) and a Northern section (lot 1).The two-lane tunnel will be built in shotcrete method with cross sections top heading, bench and invert.
