The Trans Adriatic Pipeline is a pipeline system of natural gas from Greece via Albania and the Adriatic Sea to Italy. Starting point is Thessaloniki/Greece, termination point is Brindisi/Italy.
Technical Data:
- Initial throughput: 10 BCM/a, final: 20 BCM/a
- Length onshore pipeline: 390 km, diameter: 48"
- Length offshore pipeline: 130 km, diameter: 36"
- 3 compressor stations
Scope of work:
- Project management
- Route optimisation off- and onshore as well as detailed clarification concerning the shore approach zone in Italy and Albania
- Route selection in Albania and Greece as per EBRD standards
- Evaluation and comparison of route corridors
- Gap analyses; adaptation of technical project requirements
- Cost estimates of overall project
- Detailed risk analyses of the stations
- Offshore pipeline design
