In June 2010, Henning Larsen Architects from Copenhagen, Denmark, asked ILF help them prepare a master plan for the Niseko Village Ski Resort in Hokkaido, Japan. The assignment included conducting a study of the existing ski resort, which was built in the early 1980s, and submitting a proposal for the further development of the ski area.
