Preparation of basic and detailed design for Demir Kapija - Smokvica motorway section of Pan-European corridor 10, as part of national road M-1 (E-75) including topographical survey, geological mapping and geotechnical investigation program including lab tests and evaluation, geotechnical design, electromechanical design, ventilation study, tunnel safety concept, road signage and safety installation design, expropriation design, environmental design.
The project is the new construction of the national motorway M1 (E75) in the Demir Kapija – Smokvica section as a dual 2-lane carriageway. When finished, it will be a part of the European Corridor X that will connect Greece (port of Thessaloniki) with Central Europe (Salzburg, Budapest) through the Balkans. The project runs through environmentally sensitive area and therefore was subject to a thorough environmental evaluation and route selection procedure.
