The project's purpose was to install and put into operation a new seawater injection platform which included produced water treatment facilities on an 8-leg jacket structure at 72 ft. water depth, topside based on modular design concept. Water injection is designed for 220,000 BWPD at 2600 psig pressure. Fine filtration achieves 98% particle removal > 5 µm and vacuum deaeration: is designed for 20 ppb Oxygen content. Treatment for produced water (120,000 BWPD and 180,000 BOPD) includes free water knock- out drum, hydrocylones and gas flotation vessel, achieving a final oil in water content of < 29 ppm for the total injected water. Old and new control, communications, emergency, and utility systems were to be integrated for proper function of the complete production system.

ILF's role as consultant to owner included extended FEED services using advanced 3D PDMS planning devices until then not in use in Nigeria.
