Design of load-bearing structures

The optimisation of structures requires a close dialogue between all involved parties such as architects, construction engineers, geotechnical engineers, electrical engineers, mechanical engineers and structural engineers. Especially in case of time constrained design and planning schedules a close dialogue with structural engineers is needed, taking into account the requirements of the structural systems and optimising them. Depending on the complexity of the structures/facilities, state-of-the-art 2D or 3D software analysis programs are used for system analysis and optimisation.
