Metro Cable de San Agustin, Caracas

The city of Caracas is building an urban cable car system to be used as mass transit system. The 1.7-km-long metro cable car system runs from the St. Agustin metro station through three stations located along the mountain ridge to the Parque Central metro station.

The individual stations are also planned and designed as small urban centres. They will accommodate different services such as libraries, sports facilities and the like.
