Increase of Crude Oil Production for Exxon Mobil Nigeria

In July 2007, ILF was awarded the contract to execute the detail design for the YOHO YB & AWAWA ZBA Gas lift project by ExxonMobil Nigeria/Mobil Producing Nigeria Unlimited. The project is aimed at increasing crude oil production by applying gas lifting at the wellhead platforms Yoho Yb and Awawa ZBA.

Gaslifting is a method to support the oil flow in the vertical production line of the well by injecting gas into this line from outside (annular space) via special valves. It is in principle the method used by the mammoth pump. It will require the installation of gaslift manifolds and gaslift lines as well as depressurization lines.
