Official Start-up of ENECO Gas Storage in Epe / Germany

On 29 March 2012, the Dutch energy company ENECO officially started operation of its first gas storage facility, the ENECO Gas Storage Epe.
The installation has an injection capacity of 200,000 Nm³/hour and a withdrawal capacity of 400,000 Nm³/hour.

As subcontractor for the ARGE EGS consortium, consisting of the Dutch Visser & Smit Hanab B.V. and the German PPS Pipeline Systems GmbH, which built the plant for ENECO as general (EPC) contractor in 34 months, ILF was responsible for the planning of the above ground facilities.
