Revamping of Leixões Marine Terminal - Berth C

Following the successful revamping of Berth A at the Leixões Marine Loading Terminal in Oporto, Portugal, for GALP Energia during October 2008, the ILF team handed the Berth C over to GALP Energia on Wednesday the 12th of August when the first ship discharged LPG to the refinery. Engineering works provided and supervised by ILF were completed in only 12 weeks of construction, 3 weeks ahead of schedule and with zero accidents.

Construction works on Berth B will commence on the 1st of March 2010; Berth B represents an even greater challenge for ILF because it is technically more complex than the other ones.
