Winter and Summer Tourism & Recreation Complex "Shahdag"

Design and consultancy services as well as project management including supervision for the development of a summer and winter tourism complex in the Gusar region in Azerbaijan.

The tourism complex is designed to provide accommodation and recreation for 10’000 guests. Therefore a village with several 5, 4 and 3 star hotels, apartment houses and chalets are to be build.

The design works includes also ski schools, shops, renting points for summer and winter sports equipment, a first aid center, supermarkets, restaurants, pubs etc. The project also offers a kindergarten, info points, recreation and sports areas as tennis courts, basketball and volleyball fields. The design works for the winter sports facilities comprise of 15 lifts and 12 ski slopes with the pertaining snow-making systems. The design works furthermore include infrastructure facilities like roads and paths, and power supply lines, long-distance heating. For the 10’000 staff members accommodations need to be designed as well.
