Projects to desalinize seawater to provide drinking and indus­trial water are frequently constructed as integrated power generation and sea water desali­nation plants. In this context it is very important to select and optimize plant confi­gu­ration and technology for the desali­nation process. This applies in parti­cular to privately financed projects in public-private partnership models.

ILF always designs such facilities indivi­dually in order to best meet the specific project requi­re­ments. This includes processes for the desali­nation of sea water, for the treatment of raw water, and for the post-treatment and condi­tioning of product water, all in compliance with the relevant requirements.
