Lead Process Engineer (National Staff)

Job description

  • Knowledge and experience in inter­na­tional PMC contracts related to the develo­pment and execution EPC Con-tracts. 
  • Contracts Develo­pment Experience, supporting the drafting of technical scope of work of ITB’s, parti­cu­larly for EPC scope and Lump Sum conditions. 
  • Profes­sional knowledge and under­standing of oil and gas gathering, treatment, storage and trans­por­tation processes and principles. 
  • Experience in oil, gas and gas-condensate fields develo­pment; main oil&gas pipelines, including pumps and com-pressor’s stations; storage facilities for oil and petroleum production, etc. projects. 
  • Relevant skills include, starting from the Heat & Material Balances by using process simulation software, the prepa-ration of the process deliver­ables such as PFD, PI&Ds, Blowdown Calcu­lation Report, Supply Spec for Packages, sizing of equipment, PSV, BDV, Control Valves, knowledge of instru­ments, provision the necessary data for data sheets and technical specifications. 
  • Proven ability to perform hydraulic and thermal calcu­la­tions on pipelines and piping systems either in steady than transient states, develo­pment of the principles, operating and control philo­so­phies for facilities. 
  • Experience in P&IDs, Hazid, Hazop, EIA, 3D Models multi­di­sci­plinary reviews. 
  • Experience in technical Bid Evalua­tions, technical check of the perfor­mance data and contractual perfor­mance guarantee for critical equipment/packages.
  • Prepa­ration and hands-on experience in Process engineering documen­tation (speci­fi­ca­tions, philo­so­phies, equip-ment data sheets, etc.), including training/mentoring of local staff, where applicable. 
  • Experience in major Onshore or Offshore Oil & Gas Projects, or for Major Oil Company or EPC Contractor would be a plus. 
  • Experience in pre-award technical activities, involving quali­fi­cation of Bidders, would be preferable 
  • Contracts Develo­pment Experience, supporting the drafting of technical scope of work of ITB’s, parti­cu­larly for EPC scope and Lump Sum conditions. 
  • Input to coaching, teaching, mentoring and effective super­vision of assigned personnel.

Qualification

Education: Bachelor degree in engineering is minimum requirement.
Master degree preferred
Language skills: Kazakh and Russian are mandatory.
English is advantageous
Profes­sional experience: Min 10 years, (Min 5 years – managerial experience)
