Principal Project / Mechanical Engineer (National Staff)


  • To ensu­re a high tech­ni­cal and eco­no­mic level of desi­gned faci­li­ties and high qua­li­ty of design esti­ma­tes, qua­li­ty impro­ve­ment of urban and archi­tec­tu­ral-plan­ning decisions 

T‑o ensu­re the for­ma­ti­on of the Pro­ject deve­lo­pers team and dis­tri­bu­ti­on of tasks, rela­ted to sec­tions and parts of the Pro­ject and the scope of work bet­ween them.

  • To moni­tor tech­ni­cal and eco­no­mic levels of design solu­ti­ons and the dead­lines of design esti­ma­tes development. 
  • To ensu­re deli­very to the Owner the com­ple­te design and con­struc­tion docu­ments as pro­vi­ded in the sche­du­le of the con­tract for per­for­mance of the­se works. 
  • To ensu­re the deve­lo­p­ment of the necessa­ry opti­ons to iden­ti­fy the most appro­pria­te and cost-effec­ti­ve design solutions. 
  • To coor­di­na­te with the Sta­te Super­vi­si­on Aut­ho­ri­ties the docu­men­ta­ti­on with jus­ti­fied and rea­son­ab­le devia­ti­ons from app­li­ca­ble stan­dards, rules and regu­la­ti­ons, as well as with the inte­res­ted orga­niz­a­ti­ons, which appro­ved the­se deviations. 
  • To con­firm by an appro­pria­te record in the Pro­ject docu­men­ta­ti­on that „The Pro­ject is exe­cu­t­ed in accordance with all app­li­ca­ble stan­dards and regu­la­ti­ons, com­plies with all explo­si­on and fire safe­ty rules and requi­re­ments, and ensu­res safe ope­ra­ti­on of the desi­gned faci­li­ties, pro­vi­ded that all acti­vi­ties under the Pro­ject are performed”. 
  • To defend the Pro­tect in hig­her insti­tu­ti­ons and exper­ti­zing authorities. 
  • To make pro­po­sals to the Owner of design esti­ma­tes regar­ding chan­ges to be intro­du­ced into the working docu­men­ta­ti­on due to the enfor­ce­ment of the new regulations. 
  • To deli­ver a wee­kly report on work progress. 
  • To fol­low and com­ply with the requi­re­ments of the Inte­gra­ted Manage­ment System.



  • Must have sound know­ledge and under­stan­ding of tech­ni­cal terms and conditions. 
  • Fami­li­ar with all pha­ses of Contracts. 
  • Awa­reness of Com­pli­an­ce and ISO Audit Processes. 
  • Abi­li­ty to iden­ti­fy chan­ges and impro­ve­ments to the tech­ni­cal docu­men­ta­ti­on and pro­ce­du­res to reflect Client’s chan­ging requirements. 
  • Know­ledge of com­pu­ter based sys­tems inclu­ding, Data­ba­se Manage­ment sys­tems, Micro­soft Pro­ject, Pri­ma­ve­ra, Micro­soft Office or equi­va­lent soft­ware packages. 
  • Be proac­ti­ve, a self-star­ter and abi­li­ty to work without supervision. 
  • Sys­te­ma­tic thin­ker and good orga­niz­a­tio­nal skills/ time management. 
  • Strong per­so­na­li­ty with abi­li­ty to be firm and per­sua­si­ve without authority. 
  • Team play­er wit­hin and across functions. 
  • Sen­si­ti­ve to Client’s requi­re­ments and Client-focused. 

Edu­ca­ti­on: Bache­lor degree in engi­nee­ring is mini­mum requi­re­ment; Mas­ter degree preferred

Lan­guage skills: Rus­si­an and Eng­lish are man­da­to­ry Kazakh is advantageous
Pro­fes­sio­nal expe­ri­ence: Min 5 years
