In doing so, we assess the risk of climate change, calculate and reduce greenhouse gas emissions, ascertain and proactively manage environmental and social impacts and collaborate closely with our technical experts to arrive at the most sustainably positive outcome.

SUSTAINABILITY BLUEPRINT

In pursuit of our vision to be a leader in improving the quality of life around the globe, ILF’s Sustainable Solutions Competence Center has been established to advocate and incorporate sustainability into all of our projects.

As part of our services and solutions, we have developed a Sustainability Blueprint to help our clients customize and optimize sustainable project delivery.

Our Sustainability Blueprint is anchored in a structured methodology with distinct steps, each producing specific outcomes that influence the subsequent blueprint steps to ultimately deliver a tailored positive solution for our clients and our planet.
The successful delivery of this Sustainability Blueprint relies on the high level of expertise and seamless collaboration between ILF’s scientists, engineers, economists, local companies and identified stakeholders.

GHG CALCULATION & REDUCTION

GREENHOUSE GAS CALCULATION & REDUCTION

In response to the Paris Agreement and our ambition at ILF to become net zero, we have developed a comprehensive and agile Greenhouse Gas (GHG) calculation and reduction methodology to help our clients quantify their projects’ GHG emissions (Scope 1, 2 & 3 emissions).

GHG-related “products” and “activities” (as defined in the GHG Protocol ) across various project phases and scenarios are critically analyzed by our experts in terms of their design data, emission factor, source and project location, as well as their mitigation potential.
The results of these analyses are then used to determine the options that provide the most sustainably positive solution for our clients and our planet.
