Lead Process Engineer

  • L• Knowledge and experience in inter­na­tional PMC contracts related to the develo­pment and execution EPC Contracts. 
  • Contracts Develo­pment Experience, supporting the drafting of technical scope of work of ITB’s, parti­cu­larly for EPC scope and Lump Sum conditions. 
  • Profes­sional knowledge and under­standing of oil and gas gathering, treatment, storage and trans­por­tation processes and principles. 
  • Experience in oil, gas and gas-condensate fields develo­pment; main oil&gas pipelines, including pumps and compressor’s stations; storage facilities for oil and petroleum production, etc. projects. 
  • Relevant skills include, starting from the Heat & Material Balances by using process simulation software, the prepa­ration of the process deliver­ables such as PFD, PI&Ds, Blowdown Calcu­lation Report, Supply Spec for Packages, sizing of equipment, PSV, BDV, Control Valves, knowledge of instru­ments, provision the necessary data for data sheets and technical specifications. 
  • Proven ability to perform hydraulic and thermal calcu­la­tions on pipelines and piping systems either in steady than transient states, develo­pment of the principles, operating and control philo­so­phies for facilities. 
  • Experience in P&IDs, Hazid, Hazop, EIA, 3D Models multi­di­sci­plinary reviews. 
  • Experience in technical Bid Evalua­tions, technical check of the perfor­mance data and contractual perfor­mance guarantee for critical equipment/packages.
  • Prepa­ration and hands-on experience in Process engineering documen­tation (speci­fi­ca­tions, philo­so­phies, equipment data sheets, etc.), including training/mentoring of local staff, where applicable. 
  • Experience in major Onshore or Offshore Oil & Gas Projects, or for Major Oil Company or EPC Contractor would be a plus. 
  • Experience in pre-award technical activities, involving quali­fi­cation of Bidders, would be preferable 
  • Contracts Develo­pment Experience, supporting the drafting of technical scope of work of ITB’s, parti­cu­larly for EPC scope and Lump Sum conditions. 
  • Input to coaching, teaching, mentoring and effective super­vision of assigned personnel. 
  • Input to coaching, teaching, mentoring and effective super­vision of assigned personnel, including the issuance of tasks and the monitoring of their timely and high-quality implementation. 

Compe­tency requirements:

  • Academic education to BSc or BEng level minimum in process • Must have sound knowledge and under­standing of technical terms and conditions. 
  • Familiar with all phases of EPC Contracts. 
  • Awareness of compliance and audit processes. 
  • Ability to identify changes and impro­ve­ments to the technical documen­tation and proce­dures to reflect Client’s changing requirements. 
  • Knowledge of computer based systems including, CAD, Database Management systems, Excel, Word, Microsoft Office or equivalent software packages. 
  • Be proactive, a self-starter and ability to work without supervision. 
  • Syste­matic thinker and good organiz­a­tional skills/ time management. 
  • Strong perso­nality with ability to be firm and persuasive without authority. 
  • Team player within and across functions. 
  • Sensitive to Client’s requi­re­ments and Client-focused.

 

Qualifikation

Education: Academic education to BSc. or BEng. level minimum in process engineering or compa­rable education.
Language skills: English are mandatory
Kazakh and Russian are advantageous
Profes­sional experience: Min 20 years – technical experience, min 5 years – in lead position
