MEET OUR HR TEAM

Engineering Excellence starts with our highly qualified employees. That’s why we have 10 HR specialists working across all of our office locations on a daily basis to find top talents to fill our current job vacancies throughout Austria. Here you can see who you might come into contact with when you apply for a job with us:

“Change is hard at the beginning, chaotic in the middle, but just great in the end.” (Anon.)
“Many a (typical) day working in HR feels like this quote describes, but that’s exactly why I’m glad I followed my calling, because I love my work and like motivating change. I like to spend time and relax, both in summer and in winter, in our beautiful Tyrolean mountains. As Head of the HR Team at ILF in Austria, I, together with my great team, get to accompany our employees throughout the entire Employee Life Cycle, and, working closely with our management, I am able to constantly optimise this life cycle. I look forward to hopefully accompanying you on your personal candidate experience with the ILF family very soon.”

“At ILF, I work as an HR Business Partner and my tasks include communicating with managers and leaders as well as applicants, carrying out interviews with applicants, onboarding new employees, and participating in and implementing recruitment marketing initiatives. No two days are the same, but they are as colourful as our ILF team and the applicants that I communicate with on a daily basis.

I like the challenge of constantly expanding my knowledge in the area of human resources to be able to keep up with current trends and adapt to the candidate market. I am even more passionate about the versatility that comes with the exciting range of tasks that we deal with throughout the Employee Life Cycle at ILF.

I live in Vienna and really enjoy baking in my free time as well as going on excursions or having dinner parties with my friends and family.”

“I am an HR Business Partner based in the office in Rum (near Innsbruck). In my communication-oriented job, as well as by reading in my private life, I can pursue my passion for languages. I also enjoy being outdoors and spending free time with family and friends.

I have been working for ILF, in a variety of different roles, since 2009. I originally started out as a translator in the company, but then seized the opportunity to join the HR Team. In HR, we are usually the first point of contact that applicants have with the company. I try to make the transition from applying to ILF to starting work here as smooth as possible, and to help people settle into their new jobs.

As an HR Business Partner, I am also the point of contact for one of our Managing Directors, as well as the Department Managers, Team Leaders and other staff who report to them. Together we work to be an Employer of Choice for our employees. What excites me most about my job is the variety of tasks I get to work on: whether onboarding in Spanish, helping with employee development, or applying for Red-White-Red cards – my work never gets boring.

It is important to me that I am there for ʺmyʺ departments and that I am able to be a sparring partner when discussing important topics with managers and leaders.”

“At ILF, I work as an HR Business Partner in the office in Vienna, where I am not only responsible for recruiting, but also for our employee’s HR-related questions. I also have to keep an eye on the rapidly changing HR world and react quickly to new trends. True to the motto “In every job that must be done, there is an element of fun” (Mary Poppins), what I really appreciate about my job is that I get to work with many different characters on a daily basis and have a colourful and comprehensive range of tasks. In my free time, I enjoy spending time in my garden :-).”

“I have been part of the ILF family since 2010. As an HR Business Partner, I am responsible for all HR matters in ʺmyʺ departments throughout the entire Employee Life Cycle. I love the variety of my tasks and the daily collaboration with ILF colleagues from different areas and departments. I am also the Team Leader for Recruitment Marketing and – with the active support of my colleagues – I am responsible for making ILF known as an Employer of Choice and for raising the company’s profile in this regard.

However, it is by far not enough to just make people aware of ILF and get them to join our team. It is just as important – if not more so – to keep existing employees on board. I am of the opinion that only those people who feel comfortable, enjoy their work and can develop as they wish will (want to) remain part of the ILF family for a long time – something which I try to influence as much as I can.”

“Having worked in payroll for several years, I am now working as an HR Business Partner at ILF in Austria. In this role, I am involved in the entire Employee Life Cycle. I am a contact person for our applicants as well as employees, and I also provide our managers and leaders with advice. I want to support our employees in developing their talents by being open, attentive and honest with them.

What I like about my work at ILF is that I am able to not only make an independent contribution to our team, but can also be involved in changes within the company. I especially enjoy working with people in my varied job.

My tip for applicants: Consciously set yourself goals and make these clear to us during the application process > “Let’s achieve greatness together.”

“I have been working for the company since 2001, and in the HR Department since 2016. I am the contact person for interns at our offices in Vienna, Leobersdorf and Graz, and internally I am “the Jack of all trades, or the woman for everything”. This makes my tasks very varied and my work never gets boring.”

“I have been working as an HR Assistant at ILF for more than 14 years. My main task is to support interns and apprentices at the office in Rum (near Innsbruck) – from the application process up to their first day working at ILF. Of course, I am also a contact person for all employees in the office, as my motto is “If the employees are happy and doing well, then the company is also doing well!”

If someone were to ask me what I appreciate most about ILF, it would definitely be the collegial spirit here! I personally find this extremely important – after all, you spend a relatively large amount of time in the office and with your colleagues!”

“Born in the Weinviertel region of Austria, I moved to the beautiful mountains of Tyrol in 2018, where I have been working as a HR Specialist responsible for Social Media Recruiting as well as Active Sourcing ever since.
The HR strategy has changed rapidly in the last few years. Only those who know what really motivates their potential applicants, what their professional goals are, and what criteria are important to applicants when choosing a new employer, can attract the best talents. Communication has always been a passion of mine, and “in order for people to open a door, they need to know who is standing in front of it” (Anke Maggauer-Kirsche). So if you ever get a message from me on LinkedIn, don’t be afraid to open the door for me.😉 ”
“I come from South Tyrol and have been working in the area of Human Resource Management at ILF since September 2022. I am predominantly involved in recruiting, i.e. conducting interviews and handling the processes for hiring new employees are among my main tasks.
What I like about my work at ILF is my colleagues. The friendly manner with which we treat each other, the way we work together as equals, and the openness within ILF make everyday office life even more exciting. I also particularly appreciate the flexibility that ILF offers me in terms of my working hours – whether it is the possibility to work from home or the flexitime model.
What I also enjoy about my job is getting to know new people. I always find the conversations I have with colleagues very interesting and I value these very much. It is only by being open and honest with each other that we can build long-term relationships, and that should also be our goal.”
