ILF Australia, with its registered office in Sydney, is a member of the ILF Group – a leading international engineering and consulting group with origins in Austria and Germany.

ILF has over 55 years of experience in delivering challenging projects in its main business areas of Energy & Climate Protection, Water & Environment, Transportation & Urban Spaces and Resources & Sustainable Industry.

Expanding its global network, ILF is now bringing its extensive European experience in the interdisciplinary planning, design and coordination of hydropower plant projects to the Australian market – with a focus on renewable energy, particularly prioritizing Pumped Hydroelectric Energy Storage (PHES) projects.

ILF has already been involved in several PHES projects in Australia, including the Kidston and Cultana projects among others. More recently, ILF’s work in Australia has concentrated on the Stratford, Capricornia, and Western Sydney PHES projects, and has generally focused on the early phases of project development, from concept and feasibility studies to the preparation of reference designs and tender documents.
