Incre­a­sing mobi­li­ty needs cou­pled with calls for envi­ron­men­tal pro­tec­tions and con­ser­va­ti­on of natu­ral resour­ces are brin­ging rail­way trans­port back into the spotlight.

While the con­struc­tion of high-speed rail­way lines is gea­red towards pas­sen­ger trans­port, the upgrade and reha­bi­li­ta­ti­on of exis­ting stan­dard and nar­row gau­ge lines is aimed at both pas­sen­ger and freight trans­port. Moder­niz­a­ti­on of rail­way infra­st­ruc­tu­re makes rail­way trans­port more attractive.

ILF has con­tri­bu­t­ed signi­fi­cant­ly to the imple­men­ta­ti­on of nume­rous rail­way engi­nee­ring pro­jects in many dif­fe­rent coun­tries. ILF pro­vi­des engi­nee­ring ser­vices both for civil works and rail­way sys­tems. This enab­les ILF to ren­der com­pre­hen­si­ve engi­nee­ring ser­vices for all disci­pli­nes invol­ved in rail­way projects.
