Pro­jects to desa­li­ni­ze sea­wa­ter to pro­vi­de drin­king and indus­tri­al water are fre­quent­ly con­struc­ted as inte­gra­ted power genera­ti­on and sea water desa­li­na­ti­on plants. In this con­text it is very important to select and opti­mi­ze plant con­fi­gu­ra­ti­on and tech­no­lo­gy for the desa­li­na­ti­on pro­cess. This app­lies in par­ti­cu­lar to pri­va­te­ly finan­ced pro­jects in public-pri­va­te part­ners­hip models.

ILF always designs such faci­li­ties indi­vi­du­al­ly in order to best meet the spe­ci­fic pro­ject requi­re­ments. This inclu­des pro­ces­ses for the desa­li­na­ti­on of sea water, for the tre­at­ment of raw water, and for the post-tre­at­ment and con­di­tio­ning of pro­duct water, all in com­pli­an­ce with the rele­vant requirements.
