Electrical Designer (National Staff)

Job Description:

• Participate with other engineers in some, or all of the following project development phases: • Design, specify, and supervise fabrication and assembly of designed systems and subsystems. • Participate with create project specifications for projects that summarize and detail customer requirements. • Participate with create electrical assemblies, schematics, layouts, bills of materials (BOM’s), conduit and cable schedules, and system documentation using AutoCAD and Microstation Electrical. Create assembly and schematic drawings per company and customer specifications. • Use Autodesk Vault to maintain all engineering documents. • Provide recommendations for electrical specifications on components to be implemented in the assemblies. • If required maintain working drawing sets with approved revisions and “as-built” changes. • Prepare purchase requisitions for project related materials. • Provide design support to production during the fabrication phase of parts and electrical systems.

Application Requirements:

• Must have sound knowledge and understanding of technical terms and conditions. • Knowledge of RoK and International regulatory codes and standards. • Knowledge of computer based systems including, AutoCAD, MicroStation, Database Management systems, Excel, Word, Microsoft Office or equivalent software packages. • Be proactive, a self-starter and ability to work without supervision. • Systematic thinker and good organizational skills/ time management. • Strong personality with ability to be firm and persuasive without authority. • Team player within and across functions. • Have a desire to learn professional basic skills, to improve the level, and independently study special regulatory requirements Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering is minimum requirement.
